The department HDigital Applications Management at our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany is looking for a Data Analytics Specialist (f/m/d).
Within our mission to become a data driven company, we are currently migrating our SAP BW 7.4 system to a future-proof data warehouse based on SAP BW4/HANA. We are searching for an experienced SAP BW expert to join our motivated team and support us with this challanging initiative and future data warehouse projects.
In combination with Self-Service Analytics based on Tableau we are striving to give business flexibility and self-reliance in reporting and analysis by providing them tools and methods to work with data and generate insights.
We will build a rock-solid foundation by putting in place the processes, organizational structures, technical infrastructure, training and enablement to support broad adoption. We will pave new ground to transform HeidelbergCement from traditional IT-led reporting to modern business-led analytics.
Your next challenge Contribute to the implementation of the corporate Business Intelligence system based on SAP BW4/HANA Consult & support our business departments within a proactive customer service approach Assist and/or lead project initiatives Coordinate internal and external project resources during the implementation and subsequently the roll-outs Maintenance and further development of the implemented reporting processes Plan and conduct training sessions for internal customers
Your profile University degree in economics or technology Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP BW on HANA or BW4/HANA Experience with requirement definition in collaboration with business departments Good knowledge of SAP IP or BPC Embedded Very good knowledge of data extraction and data modelling Experience in BO Analysis for Office or Tableau would be an advantage Strong Intercultural competence, high sense of responsibility, creativity, and interest in groundwork High service orientation and proactivity Fluent in English Willingness to travel
