For permanent employment the Satellite Systems Engineering department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a Director Missions and Services in Satellite Communications (m/f/d) Your Tasks Elaboration and implementation of future telecommunication services roadmap in collaboration with OHB Service company (part of OHB SE group) Elaboration and planning of future telecommunication missions (institutional and other market) with focus on mission architecture definition and sizing Management and coordination of the telecommunication mission requirements flow down into space segment, ground segment and user ground segment requirements (with OHB System Satellite System Engineering Payload team and Ground Segment team) Management of the future telecommunication mission frequency spectrum coordination Management and coordination of future telecommunication mission implementation from mission definition to system end to end validation (phase B/C/D/E/F) Identification of key technology trends in telecom satellite payloads & user ground segments and contribution to the OHB technology roadmap Development of relations with classical and innovative telecommunication satellite payload providers Contribution to the OHB telecommunication satellite payload competence growth plan Contribution to the management of the on-going telecommunication satellite project management and improvement plan Contribution to the main telecommunication satellite bid and proposals (in collaboration with SmallGEO product line and future satellite programs departments) Your Qualifications Extensive and profound job experience and competence within telecom satellite operator addressing mission, space and user ground segments requirements and definitions Deep knowledge and experience of Satcom payloads Communication and organization skills in a multi-disciplinary environment (e.g. Marketing and Sales, Business Development, Satellite System Engineering, Ground System Engineering) Negotiation and lobbying skills towards customers and major Satcom mission suppliers (space and ground segments) Working language: English
